Study to Improve Walking after Stroke

The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine is conducting a research study that explores the possibility of using brain waves to control a functional electrical stimulation device to help stroke patients improve their walking.

If you are an adult stroke survivor, are able to walk (with or without an assistive device) more than 30 feet without help, and still have leg weakness, please contact us.

Participation will last approximately 40 hours over 4-6 months and will include 17 visits. There is no charge for participation. You will be compensated $100 at the completion of the study.
