SSA’s Annual Picnic: Food, Fun, and Fellowship8.16.21
Stroke Support Association held its annual picnic on August 10, 2021 at Mae Bower Park in Lakewood, CA.
About 25 stroke survivors, caregivers, and facilitators from SSA’s support groups joined the potluck picnic, which featured a variety of delicious dishes and desserts.
Alvin Hayes, Jr., a professional musician, stroke survivor, and SSA Board member entertained us with a live performance on his saxophone. Many thanks to Alvin!
The afternoon ended with a raffling off of beautifully potted plants.
