Getting the Care You Want When You Need It the Most

On May 8, the volunteer staff of the Long Beach Stroke Support Association will give a presentation on choice for healthcare treatment.

Using the “Five Wishes” format, discussion will include the following:

• Choosing a healthcare agent
• Types of decisions you may need to make about medical treatment
• Preferences for care if you have a serious illness
• Completing the Five Wishes/Advance Directive form.
