Annual Holiday Luncheon Sparkles at The Grand

Stroke Support Association (SSA) celebrated its Annual Holiday Luncheon on December 10, 2025, bringing warmth, joy, and community spirit to a brand-new venue—The Grand in Long Beach. Guests were treated to exceptional service, delicious cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable occasion.

Board President Gretchen Phillips delivered an inspiring address, highlighting SSA’s accomplishments over the past year—from engaging social outings to impactful educational programs. Gretchen expressed heartfelt gratitude to our staff, volunteers, Board members, and support group participants, calling them the driving force behind SSA’s mission to be “a force for good in the universe!”

Keeping with tradition, poinsettias and gift cards were given out in abundance, adding festive cheer to the event. Yet, the true highlight of the day was the laughter and camaraderie echoing from every table—a testament to the strong bonds within our community.

A wonderful time was had by all! Here’s to another year of connection, support, and celebration.
