Stroke Support Association held its annual potluck picnic on August 6 at Mae Bower Park in Lakewood, CA. About 25 stroke survivors, family members, caregivers, facilitators, and guests gathered at an outdoor space populated by several picnic tables centered on an expanse of green grass and overlooking the park’s playground. The weather was perfect, neither too hot nor too breezy.
